At the beginning of his career, Captain Knuckles was collecting vinyl and making mixes just for fun. The DJ, who is only called captain in the home scene, has been influenced by many different genres, from which he learned new mixing techniques, and as a producer has also become increasingly productive. Captain’s main goal was to get to know the nightlife and underground street culture of Budapest in the 2000s.
Around 2010, he started playing to audiences at illegal parties. The IllFest parties quickly gained the recognition of the public, including the international electronic press such as Mixmag. Mixmag – elismerését is. From then on, his life changed and performs in Budapest’s biggest underground venues and at the country’s most famous festivals.
